Exercise physiology session lengths and costs will vary depending on the billing scheme used (Medicare, NDIS, DVA, or private). Location and session requirements will also impact pricing. As exercise physiology services are often covered by various schemes, it's recommended to check with your healthcare provider or insurer to check your entitlements.

Session pricing will be advised when you are booking, and in some circumstances, a deposit may also be requested. 

It's important to note that pricing and coverage may vary depending on the method of referral, the location of the provided services & session requirements. It's recommended to confirm pricing and coverage with the exercise physiologist, your doctor, case manager or private health insurance provider before finalising your booking.

Private Health Insurance:

• Private health insurance may provide coverage for exercise physiology services, depending on the policy and level of coverage.

• The amount of coverage and out-of-pocket expenses may vary depending on the policy and insurance provider.

• It's recommended to check with the private health insurance provider to confirm the level of coverage and any exclusions or waiting periods that may apply.

• Patients may be required to pay a gap fee or out-of-pocket expenses, depending on the exercise physiologist's fees and the insurance policy's coverage.

• Some private health insurance policies may also require a referral from a GP or specialist to be eligible for coverage.

• Patients are advised to compare policies and coverage options to find a policy that meets their needs and budget.

Medicare:

• Medicare provides limited rebates for individual and group exercise therapies for eligible patients with chronic conditions or complex care needs. 

• Patients may be required to pay a gap fee or out-of-pocket expenses, depending on the circumstances.

DVA:

• Exercise physiology services are available to eligible DVA cardholders.
